I’m just so used to waving to other Corvette drivers when driving the Corvette and waving to other bikers when on the motorcycle that it was just instinctive to wave today as another MME was coming the other way out in the county. To my surprise it was responded to with a thumbs up from the other driver. Am I crazy, or is this a thing as well with the MME?

Definitely a thing.

Now that I'm seeing more MMEs on the road, I wave or flash my lights or get waved or flashed probably once a week.

I was driving a rental today when I came across a red MME select. I waved, then realized that the person had no reason to know why i was waving.

For me it carries over from motorcycling. But it's weird in the Mustang because there aren't any others in town. Mostly Teslas, and most of them don't recognize the Mustang, so they just look at me blankly or avoid eye contact. We also have a lot of coal rollers in town, so I understand why the Tesla drivers avoid eye contact with some weirdo in an SUV...

I wave to ICE mustangs also!

Sometimes I get a one finger wave back since “it’s not a Mustang” but whatever
Just blow them a kiss back. That’s my standard response to road rage jerks. Especially when it’s another guy they just look at you confused and it completely throws them.

Road Rage turns Road Lust. There’s a Lifetime movie if I’ve ever heard one 🤣.

Can't say that I ever look at drivers of other cars. It's a thing?

Yep. A thing. I do it probably too emphatically.
Me too - I smiled and waved at a lady in a MME the other day, and she looked genuinely alarmed- with no comprehension that we were driving the same amazing car. And another time, I gave the other MME the nicest little toot-toot of the horn and I think the other driver thought I was road raging him. 😔

I remember when I was a kid in the 70s, VW drivers would share the V for victory / peace sign. Is that still a thing?
