I am getting the evinsulate panel because in -25C the car struggles on the highway to keep the cabin warm and the battery warm. So even if it's a little improvement I need it for the winters.

I'd avoid that and get the heatshield instead. I tried to make the evglass work but no matter what, the nanotape kept failing. I instead purchased the heatshield for summer use. https://www.heatshieldstore.com/car-window-shades/2023-ford-mustang-mache-suv

I stopped using the heatshield in the fall and winter as I wanted as much heat in the cabin as possible. The heatshield sat unused for a couple of months until I remembered Mach-Lee's write up with the reflectix. It gave me the idea to flip the reflective side of my heatshield towards the cabin for winter use. So far it works great in keeping the interior warm in the Northeast. I set my car's temp to 65F and it's quite comfortable.

I noticed less heat loss when cleaning snow off my roof recently. It was actually harder to clear because the snow and ice wasn't melting like it used to when the cabin heating was on. There was only melting in specific spots due to minor gaps from the heatshield coverage since the heatshield is handmade.

Overall, I'm very happy with being able to use the heatshield all year round. When I get a chance, I'll post pictures of the setup from my car.

Ahhh, too late. Already purchased. At this point I'll give it a try see if anything's improved. Maybe it won't be as bad for me since I am in Toronto and I am more worried about winter. If it fails in the summer I'll def switch to using the heatshield on really cold days or winter road trips.

Yes, I've also noticed the lack of snow melting on the glass roof when the Reflectix is installed, that means it's working.

Still using mine, I find it's a necessary piece of equipment when it's below 0ºF.
