I'm slowly getting faster.....
This was Unbridled, TCS off, brake stand-full throttle.

Light to light, MYPs need to be scared. As do GT500 owners not on DRs with launch control activated ?

Good stuff ??

Here's a 0-80 run
Screenshot_20210915-130318.jpg
Looks like a worse launch than your 3.6 to 60 run by far. That might have cost you a 6.2 to 80mph run. What was the 0-60 on the 0-80 run? And the G trace looks pretty good out past 70-75mph, only getting into the .4G range at the end.

I wish Dragy had a line of best fit mode you could apply to the long. G trace to smooth it.

so the GT does/has hit the 3.8 mark?

i honestly don't care how fast it goes from 60 to 80. i don't do 1/4 miles at a track, and am relatively tame on the highways. when i am on the highways, i'm doing everything i can to keep from getting kilt dead from the eejits. chicago driving is a "defense wins championships" kind of experience.

I believe one GT is already in the 3.6-7s with 1ft rollout. So you’re good.

Originally from Chicago myself. As far as defense wins championships goes, all I recall is ‘85 myself, and that was a fairly good offense (RIP Walter Payton). ‘63 and the other 7 before that were waaaayyy before my time

The best time we've seen from a standard GT yet is 3.73 0-60, so no issues there is seems. On page 15 of this thread.

wow, good to see on the 3.7.

the defense wins championships was more of a MJ and the Bulls thing, through their 6 championships. '85 was fun though, t'was during my college days down at SIU. so many good memories from that era.

Yup! You're right! Here's my 0-60 on this particular 0-80 run.

Looking at that chart, this looks like one where I did not hold the brake to start.

I tried another pull today. Same road as last time, but opposite direction. 97% charge, Unbridled, no break pre-loading.

I'm closing in on @harrysiii...lol

I completely forgot you had the GT and not GTPE. Those are some good numbers! You should try to brake stand it and I think you'll do even better. I got my best run so far unbridled, TCS off, holding the brake, floor it, let off brake.

I'll post more times Friday night from the 1/4 mile strip if the weather holds out.

Correct. So, by not brake-torquing it took you .52 seconds to hit the 1 ft. Roll out! An eternity. So, the 3.67 looks good but the reality is it took 4.19 to actually hit 60 on that run. And it was obvious on the G trace with a super slow ramp up. Usually it’s .2-.3 secs.
So, there is the additional .2-3 secs you can take off your next 0-80 run. Brake-torque it!
