I wish the MME was available in Ford Performance Blue. Grabber Blue is not really my cup of tea, even though that’s the color I ordered.
Ugh... getting erections at work is frowned upon.

I tried another pull today. Same road as last time, but opposite direction. 97% charge, Unbridled, no break pre-loading.

I'm closing in on @harrysiii...lol

Very nice! I'll have to give it another go without brake pre-loading. It seemed I was getting better results with.

That’s crazy how narrow the peak tq must be. 1.5 G of acceleration at 20 mph but dies almost immediately.

Getting close on the 0-60……… but that’s not the number people are worried about. Still would love to see some more 1/4 mile runs.

Super soft 0-30 (relatively speaking) without brake-torquing it. Check that longitudinal G trace - very slow ramp up then a very quick peak. Since we know the GTs can do high 1.6s to 30mph you had a 3.5 run there. Keep at it!

That’s because he didn’t brake torque the launch on that run. And lmao at “dies off almost immediately”, it’s still pulling almost 1G up through 35-40 and then .5 G at 60. We wish our SS’ pulled that kind of G through 60. ?

If the GTs were intentionally neutered to not compete with ICE Mustangs, that'd be a pretty damning indictment of the product strategy. Self sabotaging is the worst possible scenario here, as the GTs would be severely handicapped in comparison tests with other vehicles in this market segment.

This reminds of the following excerpt from Job's biography:
They have done this for years. Once upon a time there was a Roush Escort ZX2 (SC) that outperformed the Mustang GT......it was never released by Ford. At least that's the story from back in 98......

According to that run, it pulls 1.5 G for about a tenth of a second then drops to about half that.

If 1/10th isn’t immediate, I don’t know what is.

I suspect the 1.5 is just noise in the data and not a real number.

I think my point wasn’t clear, my bad. Yes, it’s a spike, so by it’s nature it was very brief, my point was the dying off part when it was still pulling .80+G for a good while and then .5G out to 60. You feel that in your neck. We’re lucky to see .8G at launch in our rwd cars unless we’re on DRs or slicks, then .9- 1G is possible. A brake-torqued GT launch nets about 1G initial and then the tapering off begins. At least based on the other 2-3 GTs we have Dragy fun on.
Plus, I’ve seen instantaneous spikes on my runs that don’t fit the reality of the run, so, it’s possible that the 1.5G spike was really closer to 1G and a bump was captured at the same time.

So where are we at? Still not a single 3.5 to 60 run and 101 mph is still the highest trap speed? Still no word from Ford. Still nothing from major automotive media.
