I did a thing today, if the used market continues to hold up well I'll trade in our Premium for the GT or sell it outright. If not I can always cancel and get my refund. Love the orange!

Really love what you did with the fitment. If you were to do a square setup what offset would you think is best?

Also congrats on the GT! I wish I had the patience ?

When I switched to my 20"x8.5" with 245/45R20 tires, I lost less than 10%. That's going 70-80 for about 60 miles a day. My rims are fairly light, though, so results will vary.
225/55r19 and 245/45r20 are almost the same diameter, therefore, mileage is affected by the additional rolling resistance caused by .79” additional width. It’s not a great sacrifice if it improves ride and handling. I personally wouldn’t change tires and rims for looks, not $3000 well spent.

Seeing how it didn't cost anywhere near $3000, it really isn't anything to me. Everyone has different opinions and everything can be argued in the car world. Sometimes, 2 cents are better spent in a wishing well.

Thought I deleted my comment since my 2 cents are worth 0. You’re correct, it’s your preference that counts.

There are people who don't modify cars and then there are people like me who look forward to getting a car and like a blank canvas making it my own piece of art work. Performance, suspension, wheels and tires, stereo etc all things I love to do to my vehicles. Complete waste of money but it makes me happy.

If it makes you happy, then it is not a waste of money.

With my wife's leukemia I've realized that money doesn't mean shit, do what makes you happy and have the experiences you want to have. We can't take it with us so might as well enjoy it while you can.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife Mike.
My wife has had CLL Leukemia since 2009, she could have another 20 years, she could have another 20 weeks we never know but what I've learned from this is stay in the NOW. I can't fix the past and I can't do anything about what may or may not happen in the future. I can just focus on us, having amazing times together and enjoying life as much as we can. I just wish I would have learned about living in the now when I was younger. We've been together an AMAZING 32 years together, we've survived almost dying from COVID last year together and raised 3 amazing children and have a 7 month old grand son. Even with the leukemia we are better off than most and I make sure to be thankful for what we have every day.

Thank you for sharing, and thank you for purchasing MRR. Great positive story that makes you think. So much negativity in this planet and you're right..... Live in the moment. Always be thankful.
Have a great weekend

Got the car tinted, coated and clear bra then went and got the new MRR GF6 20x9 +38 and 20x10.5 +45 wheels installed with Toyo Proxes 3 255/45 and 295/40 tires. I'm very happy with the looks, handing and ride improvements. Next is 1.5" drop and a couple of JL thin mount 13's in the rear.

I’ve got the same tire set up as you. Just got them installed yesterday. Same size and Proxes III as you. Looks incredible! Can you tell me what tire pressure you’re finding is the sweet spot with this set up?
