My first charge at a Tesla Supercharger worked perfectly

Does the cable have two ends? A CCS and a Tesla NACS? Or are there two different cables?

Sadly, I would have to charge to get down there. I believe Chesapeake House has EA chargers (as well as Tesla chargers).

Oh I mean the SF BAY AREA -- you'd definitely need to charge to get down here!

Tesla set up another test site in Scotts Valley, which is about 40 minutes south over the Santa Cruz Mountains .... the road to reach the location has been a bit dicey, however, with all of the rain and snow we've been getting.

Wonder if they'll ever sell the adapter on its own. I gotta be honest, this is such an elegant solution, I wish Tesla leadership should change because they've clearly got smart people working there.

I'm not an electrical engineer. Does anyone know why the cables on public EVSE always comes from the top of the unit? It seems like you lose a lot of usable cable length with that design. I assume there is a practical need for it, I just don't know what it is.

Keeps them away from water, snow, dragging on the ground, and getting run over. Although lazy people still seem to not always hang up the plugs when finished.

They ARE delicious! They’re frequently served with crabs in MD. I find the whole “hammer and pick, followed by amateur dissection” process of eating crabs … disturbing, but I’ll happily eat the fries while others do all that.
