Nice. Are you going to use the silver background center caps with those or are you getting Nite Pony center caps? 🤔🐩

You should be happy with the 255s. They will eat a little efficiency, but they handle well. 😊🐩

Nice peepers noticing they were 255's!

Show them off when mounted. Curious how the 20mm spacers make it look. I debated between 15mm and 20mm. I think I am going with 15mm after measuring out to the flare. Do not want it to extend past.

My front tire bulge protrudes ~3/8” from the flare, the rears ~3/16”. The tread on the fronts does not protrude, likewise in back. This is with 20x9.5” wheels and 275s. I’m thinking 20mm spacers with the stock wheels will make the tires protrude a little more than mine do, with the 15mm very close to where I am. 🤷‍♂️🐩

Was wondering if someone would notice the tire size. 😁

The suggestion to go with a 255 series tires came from markboris. Mark was generous enough to pass along some of his extensive tire knowledge onto me.

I'll be using the Night Pony center caps and Ford black lug nuts.

Will definitely post more pics when mounted!

I went with 20mm because there's another member here who went with that size spacer with their GTPE wheels. I'm hoping 20mm will get me flush. Not really looking for poke on this car but I guess I could live with a little.

Back in 2022, @scoopman put the same tires on his GT-PE after 4K miles pretty much ended his summer tires’ useful tread life. They worked pretty good for him. 😊🐩

So, my GTPE wheels are currently in the shop waiting to be ceramic coated. I'm getting it done at no cost as a favor, but they may not get done for another week or so.

In the meantime, here are a few pics of my OE Premium wheels with the 20mm spacers

I guess when I went with my new set of wheels, 35 offset pushed mine out just like those because I think the stock wheels were 47 offset and that’s what kept them underneath the fender?

Looks good.

May I ask where did you get the spacers? I can see those are OEM wheels, did you need any modifications to the bolts for the spacers, or was there enough room in the wheel behind the flange to account for the new bolts?

One last, any pictures from behind? Curious if the wheels are flush with the fender or stick out a tad with the 265 and 20mm combo.

Just picked these beauties up from having them powder coated. They came out amazing! Can't wait to mount them with my new 20mm spacers 😁

Yes, I did! Was going to wait until I got my painted wheel arches back from the shop to take more pics. I should have everything back together this weekend.
Here are a couple shots sans arches.

Nice.

Any issues with the spacers? Any modifications needed? Which brand did you go with? I know Eibach and Bonoss make a pair.

I went with Bonoss spacers. I wasn't even aware that Eibach sold them.

No mods needed, HOWEVER, I did discover a compatibility issue with the 20mm spacers and my OE 19" Premium wheels.

After taking my 19s off the spacers, I noticed that the factory lug bolts gouged the aluminum on the back of the wheel hubs. The reason this happened is because the indents on the back of the Premium wheels are shaped different and don't allow the entire exposed end of the factory bolts to nestle within them. When I torqued the lug nuts on the spacer bolts, it was grinding the ends of the factory studs into the soft aluminum. In hindsight, I did notice that they went on a little hard. Good news is that the factory studs were undamaged and the wheels are really no worse for wear.

The GTPE wheels, on the other hand, have larger indents allowing the factory bolts to nestle neatly inside. That said, I've yet to drive the car with the spacers and GTPE wheels. I'm not expecting any other issues to arise, but we'll see once I get some miles on the set.

If you are planning to use a 20mm or smaller spacer with the 19" Premium wheels, you'll need to cut you factory lug bolts. Other wheels, factory and/or aftermarket, may have the same problem.
