I can't stress enough how cool this looks:

I picked it up around 5pm so really haven't had much time with it at all.

Initial impressions from driving it about 30 miles: (Keep in mind this is a CA Rt1 so ER RWD)
  • It drives like its heavy, but in a good way
  • Still fun to drive though
  • Connected to house WiFi (Orbi Acess Points and separate DHCP server) without issue
  • Haven't got connected services working yet (says a problem getting to CC in wallet)
  • Have phone as key setup but haven't tried it yet
  • Can't seem to find the card with the factory door code so can't set up any of that (will look in the daylight tomorrow before contacting dealer)
  • Ford Pass app connected to the car without issue (phone is that unicorn thingy called a Microsoft Duo)
  • Adaptive Cruise and lane keeping is cool (although I must have a really light touch because it kept nagging me to put my hand on the steering wheel)

Took it for a 20 mile ride down the freeway (10 miles out, turn around 10 miles back, reset trip meter after setting cruise control to 75). 18F temp outside, cruise set to 75 mph, heater set to 72F.

Congrats! Definitely looking forward to hearing your thoughts; I'm especially curious about how much "giddyup" she has. All the reviewers had the ER AWD (clearly on purpose) so they mention the speed/quickness; hopefully the RT1 has respectable quickness too. Also curious how it handles on twisty roads as well.

Whoa. I’m more impressed you actually use a MS Duo as your main phone!!!

Congrats on taking delivery though!

I have no idea and its a bit dark out right now.

When I took a quick look at them at the dealership it appeared that to get the aero covers off you'd have to remove the lugnuts.

LOL Having used it for a few months now I rather like it. Its like holding a book and the ability to have an app running on each side has come in quite handy.

My biggest gripe about it is the camera: It isn't the best in the world and there is only one which means you have to fold the thing all the way around to NOT take a selfie.

Update on the connected services: Logged in with Edge, deleted, re-added my credit card and was able to enable plug in and charge.

Which is another way of saying "it allows me to never close down the Mach e forum and still be able to do other things on my phone."
