Every 2nd or 3rd weekend we take our cars to the car wash. The drive through kind where you have to vacuum and finish dry yourself.

I like to wipe clean the door jambs, rear hatch jamb and lower door sills. She thinks I am crazy. I think it's part of a complete job.

My Mach E should be here in a couple weeks. She said I should get a room and have some alone time with it when it arrives. :p

I think I need to join the club, needing help. Trying to get beyond this defect, yes on the top of the car, but visible as you can see. Ugh, also found a variety of other scratches, small abrasions, and chips. Looks like they drove it to the speedway instead of on a truck once in KC.

Ugh. My 3+ year old Chrysler is in better shape.

I always wipe down the door jams. I’m meticulous about cleaning my vehicles.

Clear coat scratches easily as well as the black plastic, all correctable. There are some good YT videos on this but I use this product for getting them out.

My MME is at the PPF dealer and it’s taking an extra days to prep my MME due to the correction needed.

Thanks, I've been using a different Meguiars compound, along with zymol paint cleaner (normally enough in itself.) So is this painted plastic or something else? I thought the antenna itself was plastic, but the panel piece may be painted something else? I may try some plastic scratch remover before giving up.

Is your PPF dealer including the extra prep with the install, or due to that charging you extra labor?
