Just got this email from Ford too. Just about charging mostly. Nothing new.

Last week I emailed my dealership asking if any FE reservations have canceled, and if so, I’d like to snag one. CRICKETS. Nada.

I considered doing the same for about 3 seconds. then I realized the FE is not available in infinite blue. Sorry, I'll wait. Seriously.

I have to wait at years two years before I can order my own Mach-E. I do know that the "last chance" would be when Ford announces the end of production, such as with the 2021 Fusion this year.

Fortunately, somewhere at Ford is someone who understands the numbering system. (I think. )

I was able to hack in and steal the algorithm:

1. Generate random number.
2. Check if used.
3. If used, go back to 1.
4. If not, issue to the user.

For some reason, it wasn't very well guarded.

I believe I shared that I had subscribed to Ford UK's email list, primally to see what they are communicating versus the US... crickets. Ford's UK Marketing team is doing a far better job keeping their mailing list warm. They're sending weekly emails. While no new revelations in terms of content and information, its nice that they are trying to keep engaged.
