Navigation Search results don't show city, but show zip code twice?

Has anyone else seen this happening lately? It seems that whenever I do searches for places in the Sync navigation system, the results show the street address and then the zip code listed beneath it twice, instead of showing the name of the city. No idea when this started, but probably about 1-2 months ago. Sure makes choosing the correct destination a challenge sometimes.

Sadly, no, I haven't found a fix to this. It is extremely annoying.

I noticed today that if I enter the address and the city name, it narrows down the search results significantly.

Address search results are displayed by zip codes rather than city, state. Not a huge deal, but why do that? I'd bet that most people don't know the zip code of the address they're searching for.

Yup, that's exactly it. It is really annoying in the Chicago area because there are a lot of towns right around Chicago with the same street names that aren't too far apart and may have similar distnaces so showing two zip codes instead of the town name is really annoying because I then have to get my phone out to check.

I agree, this is very annoying, I usually pull out my phone to double check if I have a lot of results.

I'm facing the same issue for 5 months now.

It has been fixed in an update for me, sometime in the past 2-3 months. Maybe the 3.5.4 update, but it might have been before that one even.

Thnx for the reply. Unfortunately that means that is have to wait another 6 months or so. I'm stil at 2.7.3.

Schedule an appointment with your Ford dealer and ask them to bring your updates up to the current. I have not heard of anyone being that far behind on updates. Surely something must be wrong or you have the automatic updates disabled.

I have automatic updates enabled 7 days a week. In the EU they are way behind USA.
