Looks like its just CarPlay running. They may have a jailbroken iPhone and can run more stuff than normally allowed in CarPlay mode.

Could we get a little more information on what exactly this is? The OP doesn't have any real information, and "I bought the MMB dongle" doesn't provide much either.

That said, I'd be very interested in this, provided it isn't running off a jailbroken phone or something. I wouldn't need it until I'm on a road trip, but it would be nice to grab down the line.

It's an android multi media device, plugs into the USB, takes over carplay and switches it with the Android device. You can buy it here:

+1 on this one. Why use (and pay extra for) CarPlay when Sync4 also supports Android Auto.

The MME works fine. I got it use for ebay for $150. It works on my porsche and now on the Mach E.
