Well should be better than my OEM Michelin's which lasted only 24K. They gave me a 50% rebate when I complained but could only apply to a new set of same tire, which I did. Will see how long these last.

I passed on EV tires the first tire change and went with the Conti Extreme Contacts in the 245 width on original wheels. The change in ride and handling was quite noticeable. I am still getting a GOM range of 300 miles on our premium ER AWD. Happy with that.
I assume they have the proper load rating for our car? I would love to go back to Continentals. Only tires I ever had on my Acura. Great all season.

Yes, they have proper load rating. There are actually quite a few users on this forum using same tire. I got the info from one of them.

Kind of frustrating entering your car details pigeon holes what the Walmart tire site will show you. Tells me 245's won't fit my car simply because they are not OEM . Good thing I know for a fact they do fit as so many forum members have switched to that size.

The 245's fit the stock premium wheel just fine. I personally talked the to rep of Continental tires for their opinion. Have had mine for 12K miles now and no issues other than the tires make the car ride and handle much better.

I am curious how the Turanza EVs compare to the OEM Continentals for rolling resistance and noise. GT/PEs need all the help they can get so an EV-specific all season that ekes out another 5% of range might be appreciated.

After 14K miles and a few nails I need to replace my tires on my 2022 GTPE. Going with Bridgestone Turanza EV as my next tire choice, hoping for a bit longer range, quieter ride and better tread wear. Will see how well this works after installation next week. Only $250 shipping charge to Hawaii.

Please let us know your impressions after you get them on. The list of decent EV tires is getting longer now, and I also will be replacing mine soon.

Hey Mike, since both you and Robert have a GT/GTPE, I'm going to list the EV specific tires in the two sizes that fit the 20"x8" GT/GTPE wheels which are 245/45/20 (OEM) and 255/45/20. As you know, the GT comes with an SUV Touring All-Season tire while the GTPE a Max Performance Summer tire. You can run either type of tire on either car depending on your driving/road condition needs. Some may prefer the slightly larger 255/45/20 size giving the car a bit more of an aggressive look and with the slightly taller sidewall, depending on the type of tire, a slightly softer ride. There are also more EV models available in the 255/45/20 size.

One thing that is extremely important is knowing how to purchase an EV specific tire. Tire manufacturers custom develop some of their popular model tires specifically for EV vehicles so you have to be very careful when choosing a tire. For instance, Michelin makes the very popular Pilot Sport 4 tire and while this is not an EV tire, they do make one specifically for the Porsche Taycan that is EV tuned. Another example would be the Continental CrossContact RX that comes on the Mach-E GT or the Pirelli P Zero's that are on the GTPE. Neither of those are EV tires if they are purchased as the manufacturer's standard model but if purchased specifically for the Mach-E, which has a different model number, then they are EV designed tires. Same goes for many other manufacturers. So when purchasing a specific tire, make sure you know the exact model of that tire you want.

Below are the EV tires I know of at this time that have the proper XL load rating the Mach-E requires. I listed the category of the tire after each model.

245/45/20
Bridgestone Turanza EV Grand Touring All-Season
Continental ProContact RX NFO Porsche Taycan Grand Touring All-Season
Continental CrossContact RX EV SUV Touring All-Season (OEM Mach-E GT tire)
Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance Gen-1 NFO Porsche Taycan Performance Winter
Hankook Ion Evo AS SUV SUV Touring All-Season
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 NFO Porsche Taycan Max Performance Summer
Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 EV Winter
Pirelli P Zero (PX4) ELECT Max Performance Summer (OEM Mach-E GTPE tire)
Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season NFO Porsche Taycan Grand Touring All-Season
PIrelli Cinturato P7 Blue NFO Porsche Taycan Ultra High Performance Summer
Pirelli P Zero Winter NFO Porsche Taycan Performance Winter

255/45/20
Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S A0 + Audi SUV Touring All-Season
Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S B-Silent SUV Touring All-Season
Bridgestone Turanza 6 Star BMW Grand Touring Summer
Continental CrossContact RX ContiSilent SUV Touring All-Season
Goodyear Eagle Touring MO Mercedes Grand Touring All-Season
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 SCT Max Performance Summer
Hankook Ion Evo AS SUV SUV Touring All-Season
Kumho Crugen HP71 + Volkswagen SUV Touring All-Season
Michelin Latitude Sport 3 TO Tesla Sport SUV/Truck Summer
Michelin Primacy Tour A/S GOE Hyundai Grand Touring All-Season
Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 EV Winter
Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) M0-S Mercedes Max Performance Summer
Pirelli P Zero All Season MO Mercedes Ultra High Performance All-Season
Pirelli P Zero Al Season Star BMW Ultra High Performance All-Season (tire I'm currently using)
Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season MO Mercedes Sport SUV/Truck All-Season
Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season + Volkswagen Sport SUV/Truck All-Season
Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season A0 + Audi Sport SUV/Truck All-Season

EDIT:

This is a more complete list in another thread that I try to keep updated which also includes 19" tires for the Mach-E.

I will concur with Mark, installed 255/45/20 Ultrac Vorti + summer tire and because these have a higher load rating than the factoy I can run them at 36psi safely.

There is a noticeable improvement in ride quality.

That is very helpful, Mark. Thanks!

I think this one may be missing from the list: it is the standard Scorpion Zero ELECT model (not for a specific car, I don't think):

I listed the tires that are available in the US that I am aware of. The standard Scorpion Zero ELECT model I don't think is available here in the US. I forget to mention, that there are many other EV tires that are not available here. Like Michelin's Pilot Sport EV that has been out for more than a year but not here.

I looked on Bridgestone's website just now and they don't make the Turanza EV tires in the size that I need for my 2022 select. The Pirelli Elects are not available for my Select.
