If Ford was smart, they would do what Tesla did and possibly schedule builds in Canada/EU just below 200k, then once they past a calendar quarter (like Oct 1st or Jan 1st), then open the flood gates to USA orders and production after that point; make US cars vs. EU/Canada cars as much/as fast as possible.

This would allow more people to take advantage of the full credit during that quarter hitting 200k and the full 2nd quarter afterwards.
I have no doubt Ford will adjust the production schedules as they approach 200k if it will be to their advantage. They would really just have to focus on producing cars for outside of the USA for a bit to make sure they hit 200K in the US at the beginning of a quarter and not at the end.
