No, that is separate from the cost. The MSRP on most models dropped 5K and 13K on the GTPE. So now all Mach-E trims will qualify for the government rebates

This is actually incredibly frustrating for owners who bought early. The rebate program excluded people who bought bigger batteries in EX models as if that was a luxury. I tried contacting the program and basically was told too bad.

@Ford of Canada this is something that your company should be contacting the govt about for those who purchased 21 EX models. We were essentially penalized for buying larger batteries. This price drop for all models is a bit frustrating to hear about, especially after spending 3 years talking up this car. I am pretty confident I am responsible for at least two purchases in my town alone! this car was the first new car I’ve ever bought and I thought buying a bigger battery would qualify. At the time, only selects qualified but now 21 models aren’t included at all.

Fyi. 3.9% good only until March 14/2024. I assume price adjustment is forever

So I ended up taking advantage of the price reduction and traded up. I don’t think I can be bitter about my 21 when I look at the sticker from my 23 GTPE. Originally $96,690. I got it for $70,150, and got the dealer to pay me 4K over my loan balance for my trade in. My payments went down but I have a new term. Magneride is sooooooo worth it!!!!
