Interesting. Wondering if this is just a charger compatibility update like last time?

Hello from Millersville.

Verbiage looks identical to the update that came out a while ago.

Are you in EA? Did you get the earlier DCFC update?

Also received this, in EA but did not get 4.2.6 yet. This update is not labeled. 2022 Select.

I'm in EA and got 4.2.6 and then immediately got this one.

First time I've ever seen back 2 back OTA's. Surprising.

Same. Got 4.2.6 last night and the priority update scheduled for tonight.
Makes me wonder if there’s a bug in 4.2.6 they just uncovered (the point of EA!)

They said exactly what they’re doing, they “tweaked” it for reliability and performance.

In video game speak, it’s code for a “nerf.”

If it was good news, they would brag about it more.

I’m in EA and got the update today. I’ve never DC charged and hopefully never will though.

you work in their communications department or something?

what was the tweak? how will it be more reliable or performant? what aspect of performance?

i don't see the purpose in defending what is clearly an intentionally vague message

I hate the ambiguous notes, but the updates that added preconditioning, increased battery capacity, and improved the charge curve were hidden with no mention in the notes.

My guess is this is a patch for the erroneous charger errors some people were getting.

That’s my guess. If it tweaks the curve it’s likely very small. I think if they made a meaningful change they’d crow about the improvements.
