I don't know if it's the same in the US but Ford dealer received a memo telling that standard range order will not be accepted after March 1st for 2021 model. Next standard range models available will be 2022 models. What's in the memo is that Ford need to sell extended range batteries to meet government's regulation (which government and which regulation? I have no idea but I'm not aware of something like this in Canada so I assume that it's US related). They mention that the have reach the limit of vehicle produced with a standard range batteries.
Wow! What's that!?? I'm pretty surprised since the vast majority of Mach-E seems to be extended range. Current order made before March 1st will be produced.
Does anybody have some information about it?
