No voice command after software update (maybe two recent updates, actually)

Rarely use this feature but trying to call out while driving last two days, “hello ford” no response…steering wheel button same…any suggestions y’all?

Hate to be that guy but have you tried rebooting Sync? It's fixed it for me on a couple of occasions that I lost voice input functionality.

Did you change the wake word to "Hello Ford?" The default is "Okay, Ford" - perhaps you were saying the wrong phrase. Just a thought ...

Yes, actually did change it; blessed (!) to have a daughter here remote working for months during COVID and she’d push the features of the car…me, turned it on and if radio worked that was the end of it

Did the reboot but only in the garage, no change…I’ll test when I’m driving; I must say, it’s always been a bit ”hit or miss” at least rarely responsive to first Hello Ford attempt

Not sure related, using navigation yesterday which previously has always included a “please obey traffic laws“ (?) prompt…nothing now, and the “Hello Ford” prompt that worked for 18 months or so no doesn’t. Reboot ?
