Noise when opening trunk

I just noticed that today, you can hear the noise I’m talking about right after you hear the trunk opening.

it sounds like bent plastic or something.
It was definitely not here before and that’s new.

the only new variable is that it’s now hot outside ~81 today.

does your trunk make that noise too?

Mine had a similar issue, I brought it into the dealer's service dept when I stopped by to pick up the floor mats I ordered, and they fixed it pretty quickly...not sure what was causing it but it's gone now. Just call and make a service appt they should be able to fix it assuming it's the same issue

Some part of the insulation/liner but I didn't get a specific explanation. I just said "fix it" and they did ?

normally there’s only one sound, the latch opening and nothing after.
