I think they gave it to Rivian last year... who else is really a competitor? The GMC cool but its is a toy vehicle, not really a practical truck.

Glad Ford got it - good timing as the '23 are rolling out.

6 months driving my '22 Lightning has been excellent - no issues - no faults - no TSB - no dealer service interaction.

Still waiting on GM's EV WT for $40K if that's a pipe dream or not...

The key here is "Truck of the Year" NOT "EV Truck of the Year". Pretty important distinction as it beat out any ICE vehicles too.

I agree it's truck of the year, not EV truck of the year... but in terms of things that are shinny and new, it's all EVs and that's what they think about
