OBCC backorder

I have been unable to charge at a DC charger and get an orange ring when I attempt the charge. The dealer said that I need the have my OBCC replaced after performing diagnostic testing. This part is on backorder with no known date when it will be back in stock. Does anybody have any information on this part or problem?

That is a rare problem, but it could be the OBCC. I would assume they already tried updating it and traced it to a module issue. OBCC is only used for DC charging but the AC signals have to pass through it.

The OBCC is the off board charge controller, which communicates with the DC charger to control the charging of the vehicle.
