I agree. My friend's cabin is a 2 1/2 hour drive North from the Twin Cities, so saying this is "too far" for the MME to reliably travel in winter is simply misinformation. He does it routinely.

I'm liking the reductions. My order (premium AWD) now qualifies for the credit!
I just went on the IRS website to confirm and it says the vehicle's manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) can't exceed $55,000. MSRP is the retail price of the automobile suggested by the manufacturer, including options, accessories and trim but excluding destination fees. It isn't necessarily the price you pay.

Tesla has better tech, the cars can create an account and brag about themselves on forums....but no 360 camera...

Other than "build quality" which is vague, one might also be interested in drivetrain quality.

Tesla Model Y has a 8 year / 120,000 mile drivetrain warranty.

Ford Mach E has a 5 year / 60,000 mile drivetrain warranty.

Ford also had issues with high voltage contacts and had to recall 50,000 Mach Es.

You are not living in reality. You seem like the type of person who goes out and pumps-up what some sales/marketing guy writes on a piece of paper.

I was one of those 50k MachEs that got recalled. Do you know the inconvenience/impact it had on my car? Zero. My HVJB had zero problems, and the recall was solved via an OTA update. The was the case for the majority of the 50k that were recalled. Very few actually had to be taken to a dealership.

This is not 2-day delivery at Amazon.com. Believe me, you do not want a rushed shipment = banged up 'new' car. Moving a 5000lb object the right way via freight takes a long, long time. For what it's worth mine took about 2 months to deliver once it was built.

I went through the same thing you're going through. Believe me, once you get the car, you'll forget all about it.

Freight shipping is a lot more complicated than you might think. Especially when it's coming from another country.

If you enjoy your Tesla then more power to you. I enjoy my ME.

If someone asks my opinion (happens from time to time) I'd recommend a MachE over a Y, but beyond that I could really care less.
