I've received word that Optiwatt may have reduced their data polling frequency, which may fix 12V drain issues users were experiencing in the past.
If you do get 12V drain messages, continue to report them to their technical support as well so it's documented.
Note: Optiwatt uses the 3rd party Smartcar API platform to access the Ford API data for your vehicle. Smartcar has been a known API abuser in the past that has caused 12V drains across multiple app platforms they service. They may now be taking corrective action to fix misuse.
Update: Do not use Optiwatt, or your Ford account will be blocked. They are still using unauthorized data access methods as of Dec 2022.
