Optiwatt Phantom Drain

So installed Optiwatt and linked my Ford account so I could try it out, but I recommend against it because it constantly wakes up the car even through the FAQ says it lets the car sleep. Just wanted to warn those that wanna try it. It does give some helpful data but not worth draining your 12v over.

a forum search for "Optiwatt" finds a few references like Apps to track charging costs | MachEforum - Ford Mustang Mach-E Forum, News, Owners, Discussions but there's not a lot of posts for sure... the traffic on the site is so high that missing a thread is extremely easy, and the search is problematic at times enough that it's easy to not find something.

Good to know, I would recommend just using the charge schedule in the car.

Yeah, I had all the charge scheduling in Optiwatt turned off too, I just like the data it told me about how much money I’ve saved and all that, but not worth it.

I installed it last week because I thought it would help track more. I started getting the low 12V message every day since then and didn't put 2 and 2 together until I saw something somewhere else about it. Now I know why I've been getting that message all week.

Yep, all is good now once I removed my car from it.
