Order Scheduled for Production Date

104 of you lucky soles indicated that you have confirmation of a build week date, congratulations. Won't be too long until we all have them. My only hope is that I take delivery of my ordered vehicle, reserved almost a year ago, before inventory is sitting on dealer's lots!

Out of 370 on this site, that's ~28%. Hopefully, another 25% will be scheduled this week.

Why are so many in a hurry in getting the VINs now? The only case I can see it being useful is if concerned about getting the tax rebate for 2020 and delivery will not be until 2021. Is there some other use case for the VIN that can't wait a couple of months?

A small interesting thing I noticed is the web site shows the Sunday of the week:

But the e-mail shows the Monday of the week:

Just one of those things where you think someone missed a detail somewhere.

There's no way the web sites and the in-car software are done by the same people.

Just got my email from for saying that my Mach-e has been scheduled to be built during the week of December 21, 2020. Not sure how to feel since that means I won't get the vehicle until 2021.

Edit: For Context I reserved the Mach-E 1am the night after the Mach-e Reveal (11/18/19). My reservation number is 10007841, and I initially reserved a RWD Select Model, placed an order for the select with Technology package and I changed my order to the premium when ford did the price reduction (6/25/20). I had hoped that by upgrading to the Premium that I could have got the car in December. I'm still happy that I'll get the car by the end of January. I'm in Georgia and my dealership is in a suburb of Atlanta.

In Georgia/metro Atlanta as well, here's to hoping these won't be too far into 2021

That's funny! I was going to reply similarly: Doesn't fill in the build week in Firefox, but does in Edge.

I sort of hope they've kept things simple in the SYNC system: displays rendered via NCSA Mosaic, with fallback to Archie and Veronica when things go haywire.

Just logged into my reservation and my Scheduled Build Week has moved up a whole WEEK! I was scheduled for week of 12-21-20 - see e-mail below:

My reservation webpage now shows:

The reservation site definitely said week of 12/20/20 yesterday (the site had always showed Sunday instead of Monday of the week). So wheels are turning!
