I am new here, so excuse me if the topic has been discussed before.
According to this Ford TSB the latest version is 1.8.0.
It is unclear to me why some cars get 1.7.1 instead of 1.8.0 and why some cars don't get either. Is installing a previous version a prerequisite to be eligible for the next one?

Btw I picked up my car recently and there is no way for me to know what software my car runs and what is available. Is this forum the only way to know what we are missing?

Can someone change the name of this thread to "appears to be DOA"?
I'm going to insist that when I pick up my GT, they try to run an update. Probably will be the last one I'll ever get at this rate. And Early Access, what a joke...

Strange. Your other sites are working okay?

Ford Mustang Mach-E [OTA] 1.7.1 Appears to be incoming Capture.PNG
The page loads, but if I login, it just goes back to this page with the something went wrong banner.

All my other pages are fine, my account, vehicle dashboard, my order status, all work. But Early Access won't load my account page

Apparently so. But even then - only if you somehow know what's actually installed.

They do not need to be delivered sequentially. Thus far it seems that each one updates a different module. This is the first report I've seen of the existence of 1.8.0

This is from the Manufacturer communications in the NHTSA site. This one is dated August 23rd 2021

Seriously, they’re up to 1.8 now? Ok, it is time for them to at least revert to letting us download the software onto a USB drive ourselves and installing it in the vehicle through the USB port. Either that, or allow “pulls” from the vehicle, instead of only “pushes” from the Ford Galactic SuperComputer in Dearborn. The “push” strategy isn’t working.

Maybe the OTA 1.7.1 had some issues, they paused it and made some fixes. This resulted in 1.8.0 However that isn't how the numbering system would work in software. It should then be 1.7.2 but the updates are not in any order so who knows.

I dont think that's it. 1.7.1 specifically updates SYNC. 1.8.0 is an IPC update.
