Can someone tell me in which update the battery upgrade from 88 to 92 kW and the improvement of the charging curve is expected?
No, nobody here can tell you that.

And what is the improvement of the charging curve going to consist of? will it be possible to charge from 80 to 100% at an acceptable speed? or is it still around 11 kWh?
Darren Palmer mentioned that the DCFC cliff will be moved beyond 80%, and likely closer to 90%. But there has been no official word from Ford on that.

That hasn't been done in an update yet (no word on when this would come out) and I don't think they can increase the charge rate via OTA. I think that is much to do with the hardware present in the car.
The hardware is controlled by firmware that adjust the charge rate based on sensors and algorithms. I would be very surprised if they can't control it with an OTA update. The question, which is hardware related, is do they have enough sensors and cooling capacity in the vehicle to do it safely without risking battery fires. I prefer a limiting the charge rate over a 0.1% chance of the car catching fire from charging too fast.

The DCFC rate is never going to be drastically faster in the MME because the battery pack voltage is only around 360V. Even the fastest EA stations are limited to 500A, which could theoretically max out the MME at 180kW.

When connected to a DCFC, the voltage going into the pack is between 390 and 400 volts based on OBD readings.

I wouldn't expect the max speed to be increased much if any, what I would hope for is to let the 150kw rate go longer than the current 2 minutes it will charge at that speed. If we could get around 150kw until 40-50% that would cut a lot of charge time out.

Right. 150kW is plenty for a peak charging rate. It just needs to maintain that rate for longer than it currently does.

That would be great. But is that possible to achieve with software updates?

Yes, the peak rate is never going to be drastically faster as it is likely hardware limited. However, the charging rate cliff and average charging rate does have room for improvement and could be drastically faster.

Have any of you that are getting this had the PaaK update performed by your dealer? I don't think it would prevent the OTA, but it was on my mind.
I had the PAAK update done at the dealership and I still received the update last week.

Well, my 1.7 failed a week or so ago. This morning I got in the car with it bitching at me that my headlights were on. Look down at the knob and I have no selection indicator again.. I'm assuming in two or three days my display will go dim again... God I hope it installs successfully this time, I'm tired of the car doing all this weird shit.

Me too, the display went dim again this morning, but according to Ford, “ No worries “!
