Mine shows "---" for both version and revision.
Mine too. How do we get the update to complete the installation?

It is now the end of day three and the car is still sitting at the dealership. Not hearing anything, I called late this afternoon. The service representative told me that the tech has been going back and forth with Ford, usually with about a three hour turn around, all day. The car still is not working even though it ā€œthinksā€ it is. According to the rep., the Ford engineerā€™s last response is the situation is being escalated to a higher level at Ford. The representative told me that this could take another one to three business day before there is a response. So the car sits at the dealer over the weekend into next week. No one offered me a vehicle to use. Fortunately I have another car. Others may not be so fortunate. Also we have a reservation on the Ford Lightening. Now Iā€™m beginning to have some second thoughts.
I hope no one else is having the problem our car is having. I took it to the dealership at the direction of the technician I talked to at Ford because they couldnā€™t correct the update system over the air. I could no loner toggle on automatic updates or set an update schedule after it tried to download the 1.7.1 update. The car has now been at the dealership since Wednesday and it has not been fixed. Weā€™ve had the car since middle of February and have about 3500 miles on it. Until this happened, my wife and I have loved the MME. This is our first electric car and one of the very few MMEā€™s in our part of Iowa. We want it to work for us and hopefully convince others in our community to switch to electric vehicles. Thereā€™s some Teslas in our town but no Tesla dealerships in Iowa because of state law. This is one of the reasons we decided to buy the MME.

Sounds like itā€™s time to start with demands and getting more solid timelines and what happens if they canā€™t find a resolution.

I'm really sorry you're having this problem. This sucks. I'm having the exact set of symptoms but I reported it to Ford early access and they're looking into it remotely since this in no way impacts my ability to operate my car. What's super odd isn't that they can't fix it so much that they've kept it this long. Is it possible to get the car back from them UNTIL there's a solution?

Do those groups not talk to each other?

Same problem here. Let me know if they solve for you.

Owned car since March. Last month had my MME serviced, and they ā€œupdatedā€ the modules. Prior to that I had only once noticed a message in FP app stated an OTA update was performed (back in June I believe).

Since module update, no improvement in PAAK, same issues with randomly not unlocking car, or ā€œKey not detectedā€ after getting in, etcā€¦

Currently, under system update states ā€œup to dateā€, FordPowerup 1.7.1.
Automatic update toggle does NOT highlight when flipped from left to right (see PIC).

Sync 4 Software version: __
Revision: __
System updates: 78:55:cd:e5:0f:92, 28:38:5c:02:32

No Notes APP. No calm Screen shortcut. No Maps notifications on Instrument Panel. No Frunk unlock n FP app.

Not sure what I am supposed to make of this?

Your car is in the process of updating. As others on here have stated, its taken up to 2 weeks for some to get it fully finished.

Until you get the notification in fordpass that your update is complete, it is not completed.

I didn't get 1.7.1 yet my car was built end of July
Same 7/3/21 build no 1.7.1, I think something must have been updated though recently cause Iā€™m no longer having PAAK issues at all (knock on aluminum)

My car just keeps saying it is up to date, but Iā€™m pretty sure it is not. It doesnā€™t show the version installed either. I have the automatic updates turned on, but I think the car fails to check for updates. How can I initiate to check for updates?

Just gotta wait like all of us, they roll them out slowly. You donā€™t see a version number unless youā€™ve got an OTA since it left factory.

Oh really? So once our Sync shows - - we should assuming itā€™s in the middle of install? Took me a week just to get to that step.

Yeah. There is something that hasn't fully installed yet, and it will keep trying until its successful.

This is what I now have after multiple attempts after calling Ford. This is one of the reasons they told me to get it to the dealer.

This is what I saw this morning after seeing the 1.7.1 update has finally been "installed".
