OTA 1.7.1 Stuck, anyone else have issue updating?

I posted this in the other thread but I thought it would help here too.

They are having trouble at my place tracking down one or both of these pieces.

I mentioned about having to go into the floor panel to bypass the usb upfront, and he told me that is exactly what they are doing, thank god they are on the same page as us.

So these three dollar pieces of tech are what are holding them back from updating at the moment.

Frustrating BUT at least we are getting somewhere. Will keep you guys posted!

Hearing a lot of different "stories" from dealers on here regarding the TSB for this fix.

(stories is a nice way to say lies, or giving them the benefit of the doubt say they just don't know what they're doing)

A mini update. I had ProximusAI kindly pull up my FDRS info. They haven't performed the 22-2217 fix, even though the garage said they had done it for me. So I am contacting them today to tell them they need to do it.
Bloody annoying waste of my time!

For me the message in Ford pass is still there since November, I never deleted it.

In addition to the cables needed for the TSB, are you suggesting they include reading glasses?

TBH, I don't blame them , Ford isnt providing them with enough information and training. I don't understand why Ford did not include the symptoms from the sync UI on the TSB, a "before" and "after" screens.. would go a long way towards clearing all of the confusion.
