Regarding a larger map, I thought someone on the forums pointed out that the maps within the FordPass app have a slightly different color to them showing where BlueCruise was enabled... MagentaCruise?

I’m not brave enough to try it on the Gandy.

I don't think this is showing where BC is available. I do think the roads where they are colored like that are more likely for it to be available though.

I just checked on the Ford map near me, and the color does change near where BC starts to work on the highway, but not quite at the same spot. Its about a mile difference. But, that is also where that highway goes from just a divided highway with regular intersections, to having on/off ramps at intersections. Blue cruise doesn't work if there are intersections on the road. And I think the map reflects where it turns into fully divided highway. But that doesn't mean it is BC capable for sure.

I’m kinda hoping we get the navigation maps updated in general.
I suspect that's happening outside of OTA updates. They recently re-numbered exits on our local highway and I recently started seeing the maps update (prior to receiving anything OTA)

If someone can document that Hands Free available through date before and after the update, that would help determine if it is the case, and can help identify if cars have received this update if the notice gets cleared.
My maps are set to expire 03-14-2022. As soon as I see an OTA, I’ll report back. Job 2, currently on EA waitlist.

Thanks, I’m also a Job 2 car. I’ve noticed some of the speed limit signs in my area on the dash are wrong. I know that the camera is supposed to read those but I also read somewhere (maybe the owners manual?) that speed sign recognition is also based on nav maps. It’s kind of irritating that my cluster will display the posted speed is 40 mph when I’m actually in a school zone. Where I work, the car will have a notification when I get close to the school zone whereas I literally live across the street from another elementary school and I get no notification and the cluster has the wrong speed sign info.

It will use whatever it has in the database unless it sees a speed sign. That will take precedence. I've noticed that it ignores "special" speed signs such as minimum limits, truck speed limits, and school signs with flashers (only considered a school zone when lights are on)

The school zone notification is based solely on the database though, and will not depend on signs

How are you finding your .json data? My Mach-e is Jon 1 with the 21p22 update installed at the dealer.

After a year, I have not received one early access update on either my FE or now, GT. VaporWare program.

On a completely random note, I got a notification via my FordPass app that the update was made while reading this thread, just now.

Got the update yesterday. Can't say I have noticed anything different. Everything seemed to download smoothly though which is good as this is the first OTA update I've received. Now I'd like that update that let's me charge to 90% more quickly on the road.

You can. Your car checks all the time. Ford Has not deployed it to your car yet so it has nothing to download.
