Interesting, in that Job 1 Free BlueCruise for a Year thread that the dealer bulletin mentions driving (and sometimes not!) for vehicles to update, and also, yes, recommends a wi-fi connection, which could be darn tricky while driving! Or can you connect your car to your hotspot subscription (which I don't have)??

Okay, I friggin' give up. My OTA status went from download request queued to failed again. I was out of town so my car has been sitting in the driveway since last Thursday (with wifi available via my neighbor's garage mancave as previously mentioned). The queued status didn't change (to failed) until I again drove it this morning.

So, apparently (with this 2.3.0 update at least...?) the (my?) car won't try to update unless it's actually running. And it's not like I live in the boonies. My cellular connection is fine at home. Don't know if something got screwed up with the customer satisfaction updates at my dealer in early January or what....

I'm done worrying about it. I guess I'm either stuck at 2.1 or waiting until another update comes out. Not how I expected OTA "benefits" to go with this car.

After getting that phantom update yesterday I got 2.3 today while driving and using the nav and it rebooted my screen a couple times.

My screen has rebooted a couple times as well after this update, usually on longer drives with wireless CarPlay connected

Me too. I cannot get my car to update further than 2.1.0. Trying to download Startup version 2.3.0 but no success so far.

Do you have the new games? If so, you have 2.3.0. A lot of vehicles (including mine) say the latest version is 2.1.x, even though 2.3.0 was installed.

No, I only have the one new game that came with 2.1.0. The one where you can draw on the screen and play tic-tac-toe and use the calculator. No others.

I've been on 1.7.1 since February... just saw that i've got 2.1.0 starting to download....

They're just slow rolling updates
