I see references on forum to certain updates.... how know if these have been done on a car. Do they arrive unbidden or only if requested?

...if your receive them ... you will receive in spurts ... no rhyme nor reason ... it just magically happens! I got my first one while parked at a motel in Smithfield NC.

I had my car in for the FDRS updates and they went up to Blue Cruise (it was installed). Since then however, no updates. I don't know my OTA Update as when the dealer does the work they don't want people after him.

If your car was successfully updated to BlueCruise at the dealer Mike, you’re completely up to date now. Ford is still rolling out the BC OTAs to folks atm. There haven’t been any new PowerUp’s for Job 1 cars since the BC updates. Hopefully new improvements will be coming in the next few months.

OK, thank you again for the reassurance. I keep seeing people talk about various update numbers and since I don't have one listed on my car it is confusing. It does say I'm up-to-date but it used to say that when I was stuck at 1.7.1 too. My source at the EA Program has disappeared (I guess since I have BC installed so I'm no longer an early adapter). Just out of curiosity what is the OTA Powerup Update number once Blue Cruise is installed?

2.8.3 is the latest PoweUp. That was a synch update. It was part of the dealer installed stuff in your case. There’s a way to. Heck your synch version in the car, but it’s really not necessary imo. In any event, I’m glad the dealer install went well for you. Enjoy your BC.
