OTA Update 4/8/2021 - Have You Noticed What's Changed?

Did anyone get the OTA update that was pushed out today? I haven't discovered any bug fixes yet since then, but I'll keep an eye out. I really wish Ford would post a change log of what was actually fixed instead of these generic and useless messages like "Refinements, bug fixes". I'm sure most people couldn't care less of about that level of detail, but I some of us want to know which of the annoying issues was "fixed" with the update. Oh well, I guess we'll find out together what actually changed ?.

I agree! They bait you with "Check out what's new!" and then tell you absolutely nothing about what has changed. We deserve better.

Mine popped up some time over the last 48 hours or so if I'm not mistaken. Strangely enough, so did another 250 kWh of charging on my FordPass Charging account. Not sure what that was about...

I suppose this could be one in the same update from last month. Without a version number or other useful identifying information there is no way to know.

Oh I got it too! So FordPass will send me a push notification for useless stuff but not for the OTA. I have to open the app and pull the notification myself -_-

Try putting your setting "Automatic Update". See my screen pic.

Vague update messages like this generally mean very little changed; my guess is that none of the bugs people noticed or cared about were fixed and no new features were added.

I have a friend who works in Ford Marketing. Although she is not in the group that supports the MME, she encouraged me to send her notes from time to time on what should be addressed in terms of features and functions. I sent her a long note yesterday; among other things, I specifically called out OTA and the lack of a useful “What’s New” set of release notes in plain language (similar to any other app).
