I've noticed that my pseudo hands free driving, adaptive cruise control fails now more than it ever did in the past. My little bubble will cancel and prompt me to take control of the car. Kind of a bummer.

Did anyone get the OTA update that was pushed out today? I haven't discovered any bug fixes yet since then, but I'll keep an eye out. I really wish Ford would post a change log of what was actually fixed instead of these generic and useless messages like "Refinements, bug fixes". I'm sure most people couldn't care less of about that level of detail, but I some of us want to know which of the annoying issues was "fixed" with the update. Oh well, I guess we'll find out together what actually changed ?.

yeah..... I would REALLY like a bullet list of what got fixed, as well as a list of things in development that are 'known' and being worked on, but not fixed yet. kinda like how major software companies roll out minor/major updates.

It' makes it even harder when they release no info to decide what is a placebo effect. They are leaving themselves open by not communicating. I think the theory that it is just a pre-update test to update is pretty valid. However, in what might be placebo, my paak now disconnects even more then before. It's new trick is to start the car and the car then immediately says no key as I back out of the driveway.

This is happening to me as well but my wife has had no issues. I'm using a Samsung Note 8 and she has a Note 10. I have been looking to update/upgrade but not sure my "car" should be the deciding factor.

Update: Cleared the cache for "Ford Pass" and it seems to be working again

Pulling in the garage today and noticed the tones changed for the front detection system (probably the same for reverse). Previously it was a solid tone when I was about 4 inches from the object. Now it is just a very fast beep at the same range. Not sure if I actually touch/hit the object if it will go to a solid tone. Perhaps someone else might be able to attest to that.

I got the update a week and a half ago. Something happened overnight however. I have been “living with” PaaK reliability issues since I took delivery (hoping that telematics were providing useful data to Ford). Today my car and phone will not negotiate Bluetooth PaaK at all. I had to use backup codes to start the car (I didn’t have a fob with me). Multiple iOS reboots haven’t helped. When I got home tried multiple ways to get the phone and car to talk. Nada. I tried with my wife’s phone and it works 100%, including reliable greet which mine has had problems with regularly. Hers is the first PaaK configured on the FordPass profile. Both phones share a single FordPass account (though hers was the second phone where the app was installed - post delivery at that).

Don’t know what changed. No notifications that anything was updated overnight.

Same iOS version on both iPhones? Same version of FordPass?

"Professional Technician's Society". It is Fords repair backend. You can use OASIS to run vins, view connected car data, workshop manual, wiring diagrams, etc. You can purchase a subscription to the tune of $2600/yr lol. Dealers get better deals per login for each employee.
Oh ?
I’ll go back to waiting for the OTA now

I am hoping that there WILL be more OTA, even if they are minor releases for single issues.... but what I REALLY want is for the OTA updates to start coming with much more detailed 'Release Notes' for both what was fixed, and at least a bullet list of what significant issues are 'known open issues' they are working on.

I got the same update as well. Seems like the changes were in the Ford pass app with more information available. You are now able to see the charge added in Kwh as well as miles added. I also noticed that my PAAK seems to be working better.

PaaK seems to work the least reliable when I'm home. When go into the garage I almost always need to press the door button twice before the car will open it. First press seems to "wake" the car up then, I wait a few more seconds and it opens fine. When I'm not at home, the delay between when I approach the car and actually get to it seems to give the car enough time to re-establish the connection and it works perfectly to unlock the car. Since the update 2 or 3 times after starting the car it said no key detected when using PaaK. This has never happened to me up until the last software update.

nope.... android, and most of the business/engineering sw I use is MS/Linux.
I'm basing my expectation on what I would consider 'good practice' for ANY product software updates:

- a website/forum hosted by developer to submit bugs and enhancement requests
- a searchable 'knowledge base' for known issues, when and if fixed in what patch
- downloadable/self-installable patch releases if they aren't 'pushed' out.
