Our 1900 mile RT from the Pacific to Montana resulted in this beauty.

In the last 80 miles & heading home on the Aberdeen Highway section of US101 we picked up this 14” crack from glass edge in on the passenger side after a rock strike that put the star+crack across in an instant. Insurance will cover a full glass replacement + camera realign. $250 deductible. There went my savings on “fuel”. I’ll have a longer post about the trip.

I think he means that whatever was saved on fuel cost will be going towards the insurance deductible.
