Not from other videos that I've seen.

What is interesting is to watch this full, raw, not scripted real-world instance of FSD then watch the full, raw, not scripted real-world instances of BlueCruise that have been posted. Next, remember how folks like Sandy Munro lauded FSD for being (paraphrasing) pretty much ready for prime time whilst slamming Ford for the one time the driver had to take over on a curve. Let me be clear, there are things about the Co-Pilot 360 I do not like (such as lack of audible feedback, and lack of some sort of a graphic display indicating where the car "wants" go to) but holy cow Kyle's FSD video scares the bejesus out of me. no way I'd willingly ride in a Tesla with FSD after watching that. It did some things really surprisingly well, but most of it's behaviors are very jarring and scary!

Same comments from co-workers who have tried it out. Except for the most enthusiastic, most decided it's not safe to use.

As noted in the video, the system may perform rolling stops. So immediately it's less safe than actual safe drivers. If I'm walking I really hate people doing that, aside from it being dangerous.

But just think, one could be driving down the road next to you.
Or two or three, with the 'War of the Worlds' going on between their respective "AI"s.

... Come to think of it, that might actually be fun watching. ?

Tesla, by their own admission, said that they picked "fan-boys" to beta FSD. The NDA said that they would have detractors and it's their job to make FSD look good so that there's public support for it.

So it doesn't shock me one bit that people are being extremely dishonest about it's safety and performance. I probably get a few side-eyes from people here because I'm honest about how crappy BC is. I wish everyone would just be real about it. Technology improves with critique.

My friend who owns two model 3s was excited about the launch of the bets FSD as he was due to get the download the other day.. I don't know something about "self driving" and beta test mode, doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy.

My concern is having one hit an unsuspecting motorist or pedestrian.

Yep. No surprise at all.

All drivers should be furious that the NTSB allows Tesla to perform beta testing on public roads with regular-ass drivers. It’s a GD joke. Just like FSD in it’s current iteration. And that goes for any maker’s level 2 system. But, I pick on Tesla because Elon always boasts about disrupting and playing fast rather than taking a safer, measured approach.

And where is the FTC clamping down on the outright lie in the naming of FSD? Tesla even tells regulatory agencies it’s not a full self driving system.

FSD= Find $ome Donor$.
