PaaK and Android 14 (Now working)

Saw that Android 14 Beta just dropped so installed on my Pixel 6a. PaaK will not work to start the car. Phone still showed as connected, I can unlock the car and use app functions. Would not recognize to start. Restarted phone, toggled bluetooth, cleared out PaaK and saved Keys. When re-pairing when I get to the step in FordPass where a code is generated and it says it will take 2 min to pair with the car it always fails.

***Update***
I was able to get this setup and working. It took a few resets, Reset All (fordpass, keys, start codes) in general settings in car, and removed the old paired devices. Cleared old paired devices from my phone, and then deleted all phone keys in Fordpass.

After that and a 2nd reboot on my phone I was able to open Fordpass, resetup my car in fordpass, then setup PaaK. Everything is now working.

So after a fresh Android 14 install on a Pixel 7 Pro, I was able to get PaaK to connect (of course, you still have to go through all of the "pair with null"/"phone not fully supported" stuff), and get the car to start without a fob. I was able to do it after a "going to airplane mode"/"reboot the phone" as well. However, I also know to give it a couple of days and see if it still works - we've all been here before.

But moral of the story - I was able to get it to at least install/connect on Android 14. Will try to leave the house a few times without the fob and report back.

Nice, me too. Didnt drive yet, but starts fine. After this meeting I am going to do some errands. Need to think of a reason to do errands

Just ran a bunch of errands, worked flawlessly at first, not a single "No Key Detected" or "Restart now or key is needed" then on the final trip it disconnted from PaaK and would not re-connect. Toggled Bluetooth, tried other things, nothing. Since that trip my phone is not reconnecting.

I have the buttons in FordPass like always, but PaaK is staying only as "Bluetooth Disconnected" so I cant. I can do the start, lock/unlock

Walked out to the car tonight, lights activate, Paak was perfect all night. I think this android 14 release is very rough, fingerprint sensor also not working for log in.

I cannot get Paak to work with the beta on my Pixel 5. Gets to the point of connecting to the car and fails. I've tried resetting everything, reinstalling FordPass, nothing has worked. All of the other functionality (Android Auto, Bluetooth) works. I think this beta is the worst I've seen.

I agree, thats why I wanted to get this thread out there, its a very early Beta so be wary! Does your fingerprint sensor work to unlock the phone? mine wont, but then if an app needs finger ID that works fine.

The fingerprint sensor works most of the time. The only time it hasn't was when I was trying to provision PaaK and the screen timed out, the phone came back with a funky lock screen overlayed on FordPass and would not unlock.
