Got this as well! Happy that they are planning to include it in an OTA update later. I was going back and forth on whether to take it in (PaaK isn't perfect but so far since getting it fixed I haven't had anything major), so nice to save the trip to the dealership.

Also great to see them utilizing the in-app messaging and push notifications for this.

Has anyone ever heard of a Ford dealer sending a Mobile Repair technician for anything? I haven't.
I haven't. I tried the schedule service button in there, and maybe only certain dealerships have that service? None around me listed it or had the option.

That's great news. If it's not broke, don't take it to the dealer. I'll wait for the OTA.

The dealers don't want to do it.... so lets tell people to wait for later.
OTA does sound much better.
And even more mobile than mobile repair.

If not having any serious issues I would wait. This might only be a patch !!! with forth coming update.

I made an appointment based on the notice in FordPass. FordPass even directs you to make the appointment online through FordPass. My service center then called me back to tell me that they don’t have anyone available to perform the update, so they cancelled the appointment. Consistent messaging…..

Yes! I can’t remember what it was but they had a mobile repair technician come out to do something on my mom’s Ford Edge ?
