Paak Setup option not showing on FordPass (Android or iPhone)

I just got my GT Monday and everything is great except that I can't setup PaaK

The "Setup Phone as a Key" link on the FordPass App (3.35.2) is not there, just have horn & lights button

Everything else worked with remote setup, and I can Lock/Unlock vehicle with FordPass

I have tried with both my Phone (Android - Samsung Note 20U) and my Son's iPhone (iPhone X) once I approved his FordPass and activated remote on his phone so not sure what could be happening

I deleted the FP app and re-installed and have reset the users on Ford Sync on Car but still nothing

Only thing I have not tried is complete Reset on Sync.

I know there were some issues with the 3.35.0 update but not sure if this could be related.

Any suggestions: @PaaK_Android

They were doing server updates on Sunday that would not allow PaaK setup. Maybe they didn't complete on time. ???

I was able to set up PaaK on iOS for my GT-PE, but the stupid FordPass app still wants me to set up PaaK. It only displays the unlock, start/stop, lock, and horn/lights buttons. I have deleted my PaaK from the car, deleted and reinstalled the FP app, but no change. Oh, well, I guess I don’t need the window, liftgate, and frunk buttons. ?‍♂?

Come hell or high water, make sure you have two fobs and at least one with you always.

Same thing happened to me when I got a new phone. After trying everything possible with a FP tech on the phone he finally threw up his hands and sent the problem to engineering dept. Told me to expect a call within 7 days. 12 days later got a voice mail that my problem was fixed. Looked at my FP and and low and behold it was there. Set it back up today. I always have a fob with me if I'm going over 10 miles away from home. I will never trust PAAK 100%...ever.

Just to update on my case, I went through several hours of troubleshooting with FordPass App call center but could not get it to work

We tried everything from deleting and re-installing App, deleted car from App, reset of connected services in Sync, MASTER reset of Sync, etc, etc, etc.

I was going to try again over the weekend after some help and suggestions from some members of the forum here, but lo and behold the link just appeared today on my App and was able to setup PaaK

I honestly don't think it was a result of any of the troubleshooting actions but maybe just some sync had not happened on the Ford backend.

Updating on this case again

After working for a 3 days without a problem with PaaK yesterday while the Car was parked and not being used I received a message from FordPass "All Phone as a Key and Backup start passcode removed due to Master Vehicle Reset"

The only Master Reset I have done on the car was a week ago while troubleshooting the PaaK so not sure why this is happening now.

Now I'm back to not being able to setup PaaK (link not showing to setup)

Not sure whats going on and can't spend the time right now to troubleshoot, I will be carrying my Fob Key for now.

So, it looks like there is a specific SSM bulletin on this SSM 50004

Investigating and will try reset on Sync as suggested by the case when I have a chance
