PAAK unsupported phones

I just picked up my Mach-E on Saturday. When I attempted to setup paak on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra, the app said that my phone was not supported. This phone is less than a year old., (with Android 11). Has anybody else had a problem with newer phones not being supported.

Yes, many people have had the unsupported phone message. It still works though (as well as it works in general). I had the same message on my Pixel 5 and have gone 100% PAAK.

I think this popup comes up on all android phones. You can click ok and continue to set it up. It still works as un-reliably as supported phones.

If you go into the app settings and tell it to never put FordPass to sleep, it will run all the time and work much more reliably, but it will really drain your battery as well.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. All features work but it still says its not fully supported.

I too have a Pixel 5 with android 11, but I cannot get PAAK to work, though I've tried over 20 times. I keep getting: Key Download Failed.... Please try again." Ford support was not helpful. Any ideas?

I had experienced this quite a bit. Here's what I ended up doing:

- on phone, remove all related BT connections (XXXX Mach E and Mustang Mach E)
- remove Wifi connections if any
- remove the assigned vehicle key from the mobile app
- remove the phone from the car phone list
- In settings - reset all PaaK
- remove the car from ford pass
- sign out of the app and sign in again and re-add the car.

Hi I am having this problem and wanted to resurface in anyone is having success?
My wife has an Iphone 13 and I am trying to add her as a second PaaK.
When we begin the process (she has downloaded Fordpass and is connected to the car) it warns that the phone is unsupported but says that PaaK will still work.
We begin the process and then get a message that says "Key Download Failed". Hit "Try Again" a few times but no luck...any updates as to how to solve this issue?

I haven't gotten Paak to set up on the iPhone 13. I can download a key but never get past that.

I did get it setup on a Pixel 6... Still as unreliable as ever :/
