Panasonic and EV batteries

I was watching Japanese news this evening and it looks like Panasonic Justin invested about four something billion dollars into a new plant and Kansas where Panasonic will start making EV batteries. Basically they suggested they’ll be making at least enough for 450,000 vehicles but there were some other speculation they were talking about as far as The problem with Tesla sales and this and that it was just something I read or saw actually on the news tonight wanted to pass it on.
Just edit this a little bit the full production mentioned is probably not gonna happen because of this fall of sales of Tesla and the tax credit thing they were mentioning they will be hiring 4000 people. I guess this is their second plant.

The grand opening of the Panasonic plant in DeSoto, Ks. was Monday. One of the production lines is open and producing test batteries. Unfortunately, last week they announced a scale back in the production schedule, but people privately that are associated with the plant feel it is not going to affect the long term outlook. Trump and his back facing policies are seen as temporary slowdowns. I think the world will pass the US rather quickly in this and other technologies.
it pissed me that the US senator and representative of the area made sure they had their photo-op with everyone while they voted against the very incentives that made the plant possible
kudos to our governor, Laura Kelly.and all the Kansas people that made this possible. In a few years, 8000 new jobs in the area are expected, if we survive rump, I mean trump.

Yeah, I knew it was a nice thing but with everything going on with all this bullshit, it is kind of a kick in the gut at the moment. I’m hoping for the best then possibly could just bring down the price of electric vehicle vehicles in the future. I was on my way to the Air Force Base yesterday and they’ve got a Hyundai dealer and I’m telling you there’s so many of those Hyundai. I don’t know whatever they are. Got the real sharp front end cars with the small lights that they give away on the price is right all the time there must’ve been 200 of them. They’ve been there for months not moving. I don’t know how the hell they they’re making money. But I know from buying approximately 60 cars myself in my life that if you went by there and said look, I’ll give you 20,000 for one of those right there they would not do it. They wouldn’t bargain with you at all I bet and I don’t know what they do with them when they get old. Other than ship I’m overseas that’s gonna cost a fortune
