I started working with Kelly Cooper at Chapman Ford way back on January 8, 2020, a few months after I'd placed a reservation. She and one of their fleet managers were the only individuals that were trained up on Mach-E sales back then.
I continued working with her along the way, through yesterday, when I finally took delivery of my vehicle.
NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER.
Kelly isn't going to spam you with emails or calls. I pretty much didn't hear from her unless there was something really important, like when a road show was visiting she let me know since she knew I hadn't seen that car yet at that point. And the morning my car arrived on a hauler, she immediately emailed me to let me know.
Kelly is responsive. She'd get back to me very quickly for any questions or concerns I had along the way. She is very organized. I only mentioned that I'm an X-Plan member once, when I initially contacted her in January 2020. But she tracks info like this so you don't need to repeat yourself.
On delivery day (yesterday), there were NO ATTEMPTS AT UPSELLS and no bait and switch.
Chapman wasn't able to offer a competitive amount for my trade-in, so I sold it separately from the car purchase.
I purchased the car with Ford Options. I was only the second Options contract at Chapman, and the first for the finance manager I worked with. It went fine except it did take him a long time to get the contract papers ready, due to his unfamiliarity. He got assistance from the other finance manager who had done it once before. Their numbers lined up nearly perfectly with my own spreadsheet, other than the title/registration fees which were maybe $50 or so higher than I'd expected (and they were unable to itemize them or explain)... But that's ok.
