I call user error on that one. The current incentive run through July 6th, 2021. I just looked up the Options Bonus Cash and APR and they are still there.
You beat me again! I was just typing out the same thing. ? ?

Without giving away details you are not allowed to share, might we expect any new Ford Options incentive starting on the 7th?

For that matter, what's the earliest possible moment one can actually sign a contract with Ford Credit? I suppose it cannot be done until the vehicle is in the dealership's possession, right?

Wow, this is going to be cutting it close because my dealer just told me they expect to have my car in about a week!

Advanced info on upcoming incentive programs is virtually impossible to obtain. You've got about the same chance as getting the nuclear launch codes. ;)

I'm not in a position to know future incentives and you're right even if I did know I couldn't say.

The contract is supposed to be signed when you are taking delivery.

Agreed. It's top secret stuff because we don't want dealers gaming the system.

My gut feeling is that the Options incentives will continue, but that just personal opinion. I've been wrong before, just ask my wife.

Dealers gaming the system and customers delaying purchases hoping for a better incentive next month. ;) I agree with your feeling that the Options incentives will continue.

Likewise agreed (or at least I'm optimistic) and certainly don't see them getting better. Don't know why they'd feel the need.

In the current climate I agree that there is no reason for Ford to sweeten the incentive. My comment was about how incentive programs generally work.

You guys have been awesome and make me laugh too. Double bonus. I am in the same boat. Ordered Premium AWD ER 10/20 and it is almost here. Extension is huge for many of us. My gut says that even if they extend, all the dealers will tell us it is gone and that there is a new program called Big Red Balloon Loan with a low interest rate of 22.6% but we qualify for a $12,000 Rebate, but it includes a new Solid State Battery pack with a 900 mile range. P.S. charges from 0-100 in 4 milliseconds using an 88 gigawatt EVSE, with lifetime free Delorean Mega Charging.

I would have to agree about Ford Options being extended but I can see why Ford won't announce anything for any new deals. If something new were to start on 7/7 they don't want customers to say" well I was going to buy today but I will wait 2 weeks until blah blah blah kicks in"

Does anyone know of a good number for Ford Finance if you don't have a loan in place yet? Their main number ((800) 727-7000) is a horrible menu and doesn't seem to be set up for people without an account already.

Despite days of heads up that I'm doing an Options financing, my dealer still can't figure it out, so now my delivery is being pushed back just so they can get the program in their system. Seriously?

I got the email to complete the order and did all the selections and credit approval online, so it's just a matter of signing. But my dealer has never heard of or done Options and is completely clueless on this. I blame Ford/Ford Motor Credit more than them. They should have their dealers equipped for this if they are going to offer it. I selected online signing, but it apparently still has to go through the dealer for some reason, and they aren't set up for online signing (? would have thought that would be on Ford Motor Credit's end of things).

Just wondering whether there is a consumer level contact who can, you know, help them along!
Ugh.. 6 months of waiting and my car is sitting there, but...this...

Does the $2500 Options incentive show as a line item on the buy/purchase order that the dealer produces? In other words, does it show a reduction in the "cash" price of the car or is the $2500 incentive applied over time in monthly payment reduction. My goal is to lower the OTD price as much as possible (using Ford Options financing to get incentive) and then pay off entire loan within a month or so of purchasing. Also, what cash value will they use to compute state tax? Is it X Plan price or X Plan minus incentives price?
