This UI update is terrible when it come to the audio section. It keeps forgetting the phone and when I push connect the radio or Sirius comes on. Sometimes I ca get it working by doing a scree reset. It also forgets a thumb drive plugged into the USB port and when the USB icon is touched Sirius comes on.
We need a fix!
If this happens to my car, I am going to do a LVB reset (disconnect the 12 V battery for 5 minutes, then reconnect). No update has permanently screwed up anything in my car yet but I am still waiting for 3.6.2, so I am a little behind you.

I say "permanently" because sometimes there are weird glitches right after an update completes, but those go away especially after the car is powered up, and then off for enough time to fully shut down (about 2 minutes). You could try that also.

Mine still hasn't installed even tho its been stuck in "retrieval" for almost a week. I called Ford update dept and they said there are a ton of error codes in modules showing on their end and should take it to dealer to diagnose. Can any check error codes perhaps @Mach-Lee? 3FMTK3SU9NMA41574

FYI: My car DID get the update to 3.6.2 last night. Hopefully 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 (and 4.1.3) follow in succession as others have reported.

2022 GTPE built January-March 2022.

I see normal codes, nothing you need to take it to the dealer for.

Your update seems to be stuck perpetually downloading. Are you driving the car 30+ minutes in an AT&T service area so the update can download? If you still have trouble I would try disconnecting the 12V battery to reset things.

I got 3.6.2 a few weeks ago with no signs of 4.1.1 so far

I got 3.6.1 (Wed), 3.6.2 (Thur), 4.1.1 (Fri) and assumed 4.1.2 would come this weekend but no dice.

At least there does seem to be a somewhat reliable pattern. Once you get 3.6.1 .. the rest follow in the next couple of days or weeks.

I vaguely recall someone reputable saying OTAs were generally not pushed on weekends? Seems like if something went totally south you'd want people to be around to help. I got 3.6.1 on Thu, 3.6.2 on Fri and nothing over weekend, but I can see 4.1.1 queued up today.

Changed my vote, got 4.1.2 today.

It took 2 months but once the updates started rolling it was quick. (3.6.1, 3.6.2, 4.1.1 and 4.1.2). Gap between Jan 27th and Jan 30th was a weekend so I got one OTA every business day.

I've seen a mention or two about leaving the car "on" (and disabling the sleep feature) -- now I've read your note about driving for 30+ mins in an active ATT zone. Is this the same thing (assuming the place the car is parked/on is a strong ATT area?

Not positive what I'm stuck on, but it's clearly 3.5/3.6-something (last update beginning of October) and I'm getting a bit impatient!

Thanks for the info.

"We need your help" message = install has failed due to low 12V battery

CarGuy had a unique situation where the update wouldn't finish downloading. He never got to the point of an install attempt. If you are parking to charge up the 12V, it doesn't matter if there's ATT service or not.
