Wash and wax at home. Just not recently since it’s been raining a lot here and I have had a nasty cold for three weeks. 😷🐩

Bought a pressure washer from Tesmanian, a Chemical Guys car wash bucket kit, a decent foam cannon from Amazon, and some Adam's Mega Foam so I can keep her clean when the weather warms up out here.

I'm considering doing the Adam's Graphene coating to help with that, but from what I hear, all these coatings need to be maintained ('the coating can get clogged') and it seems like it's not really saving you any work or time, just getting you to spend even more money. If it really did make it easier to wash the car, I'd totally do it.

I may see what I can do to protect the glass (headlights, windshield, roof) since those are expensive to replace. Don't see much point in protecting the paint ... you're just paying up front for a paint correction, IMO.

Shortly after purchase, I did a partial front PPF and a professional ceramic.

I think the PPF was essential given how soft the cheap plastic on the front end is.

The $1k I paid for ceramic - not so much.

I hand wash about once a week. Often just water and hand towel dry. Sometimes soap if particularly dirty.

I’ve visited automated car wash twice. The first time, my front bumper port was dislodged.

Hi, is the "front bumper port" the door where you access the wires for opening the doors if the 12-volt dies, or something else? Thanks!

It will only open the frunk lid so that you have access to the 12V. 😊🐩

I just wax it every 6 mos or so....paint chips here and there on the hood so probably should have sprung for PPF on the front, but.....oh well.

Looks great. What was do you use? Do you use polish before wax.

I apply Griot's Garage 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax as my base protection every 3-4 months and then use Xtreme Solutions Topper as a drying aid/topper after every weekly ONR rinseless wash. I love and recommend both products.

I was going to apply Gyeon Cancoat Evo (a "light" DIY ceramic coating), but the GG 3-in-1 was so quick and easy to apply that I decided to stick with it.

I have Chemical Bros waterless wash and wax if I'm feeling up to it. Otherwise car wash. I didn't bother with ceramic or PPF, I'll never make up that money when I sell the car and it doesn't make enough of a difference in looks to me while I own it.

XPel PPF & Ceramic on everything. Very happy after 23 months.

Edit: the coating is Opti-coat, and I use ONR at the recommendation of the folks who installed the PPF/ceramic. Never been to a car wash of any type with this vehicle.

You should add "Dream about having one to take care of" for those of us who are still waiting!
