How many out there would prefer a more simplified way of setting the Max charge setting in the Mach-e?

I love the Tesla app for this feature and many others. It's amazingly well designed and thought out.

Could the UI be cleaner and easier to understand in the car and in the app, yes.
Does it need to be “more simple”? For some yes.

I think there could be a Simple mode, like Teslas. Where you set a level that applies anywhere. Then have an Advanced mode to allow geo located charge settings for more advanced users. This choice should be presented when you first take delivery of the car, like a setup wizard.

I think there are a lot of people who haven’t delved in to the charge settings because they don’t understand it, but I’m hesitant to make anything “simpler” because that usually involves removing features power users might like.

I wish more could be done from inside the car, but at the same time the iOS app functionality works very well, atleast for me.

Someone can clarify, but I think you have to charge somewhere at least once before you can set it as a location and then change the charge settings for that location. I’m probably not describing that totally accurately.

There are quite a lot of choices in this poll and the distribution of current responses is making it hard to draw any clear “winner”.

Having said that, maybe add one more option:

“ Would you rather Ford spend their software development time on changing how max charge works, or something else in the car?”

For me, I would rather Ford work on fixing FordPass and all the other software quirks this car has.

It must be because I don't change much outside of my home and I rarely change the percentage. It's set at 90% at home, it charges to 90% at home. If I want to go to a 100% I press the charge to 100% button.

If I want to charge beyond 100% I give the car subs Benadryl, wait a few hours and then plug it in... J/k

I just picked up my car and yes this was a major annoyance of mine. IMO there should be a "default" charge limit and a per location override. Also making it so you must physically charge at a place before setting the limit feels asinine.
