POLL (Revised): What New Features Do You REALLY Want the Most?

During initial polling in which 101 of you voted, some asked to add a few additional features to the poll. Look Fellas (and Mustang Mommas), at some point we gotta draw the line. The Ford engineers are eagerly awaiting the results of this carefully crafted scientific survey to determine what they should be working on (when not fixing bugs). We're drawing that line here: this revised poll with 30 new feature requests.

I ohld love to see the ability to choose the default backup camera view, is that I can have it start up with the 3-way camera view. Backing out of my garage into a heavily trafficked alley in Chicago, the 3-way view comes in really handy, but having to wait for the entire system to boot up and then load the selection for 3-way view is pretty annoying, especially when I am in a hurry to leave the house.

I’d add ability to see RPM from the motors and also vehicle health monitoring stats like battery temperature, motor temperature, etc.

what I don't see up there. Touch screen door opening.
The reason I say that is I'm considering uber/lift in my mme. People just don't know how to open the door.

Also, heat/cooling control from the app.

The one obvious omission from the poll I can see is "Expand usable portion of battery pack." We already know this is happening for the 2022 model, and I don't think this would require anything more than a software update for the 2021s. I think that would have been enormously popular, landing easily in the top 10 if it had been part of the poll.

It looks like Ford is just going to marginally expand the usable portion of the pack across the board for the 22s, but it could also enable even greater expansion dynamically. For example, allow owners to "Charge to 110%" (shrink the normal buffer) periodically (no more than every __ charge cycles) and under other appropriate conditions in order to satisfy Ford re battery longevity/warranty. This would be quite helpful for long road trips.

This is for software enhancements only. You can always add an aftermarket hitch, although I’m told that towing dramatically reduces range. To the point that even the EV SUVs technically rated for towing is more of a gimmick. Perhaps you should consider any number of much more reasonably priced ICE SUVs if towing is important to you?
