That's a great result! But you can't extrapolate to Mach-e from it. Look what he got from e-tron, 90 miles less from a car with almost identical EPA range as the Taycan.

Aerodynamics has a huge effect on ev range. It remains to be seen what the cd is on the Mach e. The Taycan has a very low cd...lower even than Tesla.

It seems like Porsche did 2 very smart things: They added "range" mode which drives only on the front motor and they added a 2-speed transmission for better efficiency at highway speeds. It doesn't hurt that the Taycan is very aerodynamic as well.

yeah, I do wish we had the option on the Mach-E. Maybe some day when I trade in my First Edition for a Seventh Edition or something.

I think if the Mach-E GT team was told they can add $120K more content to the vehicle, the constant 70mph range might be slightlllllyyyyy better... or double.
