Possible new alternative to Carvana and Vroom (CA TX) Shift.com

Saw this on another forum for those of you getting close to picking up your MME and possibly selling a car.

No affiliation, no experience with them, apparently only CA and TX so far. Reports are of higher offers, pretty common for a new start up.

The problem with most of these companies is that they have a limited service area. Vroom is the only one that I know of that will pickup or deliver anywhere in the lower 48 states. That's why I went with them.

When I was selling my old car in advance of getting the Mach-E, I got a few quotes from some of the larger companies in this line of business. Carmax turned out to make the best offer. I also had gotten a quote from Carvana. Did not use Shift or Vroom.

I sold mine in Washington, so they’re here, too. Really great service, and gave me a really good price on my car. I think the guy was here for about an hour, and I had the cash in less than two days.
