Hi. Can anyone check my VIN please WF0TR1RM4MMA30003 I’ve just got the Powertrain malfunction message and would like to know if it’s serious. I’m on holiday with the car at the moment, and a bit worried about getting stranded. Thanks in advance! I’ve had the recent recall done too.
Unfortunately FDRS doesn't show DTCs unless you're connected directly to the vehicle. Your service tech however should be able to pull up your VIN in PTS and see what the DTCs are and advise you accordingly. They can do this remotely as your car has reported these issues to the cloud.

Several people have tried restarting the car and the error cleared only to return again.

I can provide a list of the current software updates available for your car, but that won't be as helpful as seeking immediate assistance from a qualified EV service tech.

thanks for checking, I’ll get in touch with service as soon as I can but in the UK they all close Saturday lunchtime and won’t be open again now until Monday.

the car seems too drive just fine, I’ll see if it come up again in the next restart. It acted weird this morning anyway, got the piezo beep instead of the starting chimes and the sync screen was off for a short while after the car was started.

You have a high key off load drawing down your 12v battery. That's what caused the beep and the screen to stay off at startup. It could also be the cause of the pop up message you got. Do you have anything connected and powered from the car? Or any apps that you use?
It isn't the HVBJB but I'd still advise having it looked at

Just so you're aware, aside from recalls, many dealers do not completely update vehicles prior to turning them over to the customers at the time of sale.

You may want to have a word with your salesman ahead of time if you'd like the non-recall items on this list addressed at the time they are doing the recall programming prior to your taking delivery.

Mike
Based on the list looks like non of these are recalls based on what you know is that correct?

thankyou for doing this for me

Some awesome members here have signed up for an FDRS account and have offered to run VINs and show what module updates are available for their Mach-E. Those offers can get buried in a thread, and I thought a stand-alone post might get more attention and be easier to spot the offer.

Two forum members have been exceptionally helpful to me, and I want to give a shout-out and pay it forward. @kltye and @breeves002 answered a bunch of my silly questions as I purchased a Bosch MasterTech II and a PL6100 battery maintainer... and my 11 module update went flawless last night because of them.

For those that don't know, a Ford FDRS license can be purchased for as few as 2 days for $50, all the way up to a year for quite a bit more. I have a 2-day license expiring Sunday (10-10-21) evening. If you would like me to run your VIN, I'm happy to run as many as I can. In off-line mode, it will show what modules have a software update available. No codes or anything like that show since you need to be hooked up to the vehicle to pull them.

My thought is that since there seems to be a handful of us willing to purchase the 2-day FDRS license, it would be great to share the resource before spending the money to check for an available update.

If you are interested, you can post here or send me a private message with your VIN, and I'll send you a screenshot of your FDRS screen. Again, my license expires Sunday (10-10-21) in the evening.

If you have FDRS access and are willing to look up another forum member's Mach-E details, post in this thread with the time period that your license is active.
thanks for doing this. my VIN3FMTK3SS4MMA18541

Wow, thanks for checking. No I don’t have anything plugged in to the car as an accessory. Ford are aware that I have a 0.1A drain somewhere which they’re investigating. They did a short soak test last week and will be doing a long soak test next month. Until then I just need to make sure I keep it charged. The spanner went away the next time I switched the car on.

I use the widget for iPhone, not sure if that keeps the car awake enough to cause the drain?

I have not received the OTA update that was just released and have not taken the car into the dealer to do it either. I may make an appointment next week and I want to see if there are any open updates to perform while I’m there (I can check what you find out against what the dealer is telling me). Thank you for doing this.

Depending on the polling the app does, it could. I have been able to force a LVB discharge by polling the car refresh every 5 minutes in testing. Most of the widget apps use a 15 minute poll to Ford, not the car, but if something is messed up in the widget somehow, it could.

As a test, I would disable the widget for a couple days and see if you still have the drain. If you don't anymore after disabling it, I would report your findings to the plugin author.

Brought my GT to the dealer to get some damage fixed and get updates, they told me the computer says I had no updates, they lied, right? (previously had it checked by another member of this forum..)

Yeah they lied. There's even the 22S41 recall in there which they should have not released the vehicle without doing:
